2(l+b) = 236
l+b = 118 ....(i)
height=4.5m
area of 4 walls i.e. CSA of the hall = 2(lh+bh)
= 2(l+b)h
= 2(118)(4.5) [from equation 1]
= 2*118*4.5
= 118*9
= 1062m²
cost of painting @ Rs.8.40 = CSA of 4 walls * 8.40
= 1062*8.40
= Rs.8920.8
