@ the rate of 10 ₹ /m² the cost is 15000
hence, lateral surface area of the hall is 1500 m²

now 2 (l + b) x h = 1500
250 x h = 1500.... given perimeter is 250
h = 6 m

plzz mark as brainliest..if it helped uh

Given:

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • Perimeter of the hall = 250 m
  • Cost of painting the four walls at the rate of ₹10 per m² is ₹15000

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To find:

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • What is the Height of the hall ?

Solution:

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Consider the height of the hall be h metres.

So , ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Area of the four walls = Perimeter of the floor × Height

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

250 \:  \times h

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

= 250 h m²

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

From the given cost of painting of 1 square metre was ₹10 then cost of painting of the four walls is

= 250 h × 10

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

= ₹ 2500 h

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As per the Question the cost of painting of the four walls is ₹ 15000.

⠀Then , 2500 h = 15000

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

h = 15000/2500

Height of the hall = 6m
