The floor of a rectangular room is 5m50cm long and 7m60cm broad. Find the minimum number of square tiles of the same size needed to cover the entire the floor . Also fond the perimeter of the room.​

Let the number of square tiles required be x

so,

Area of room = Area of 'x' tiles

Area of room=side×side=12×12=144m

=1440000cm

Area of 1 tile=50×50=2500cm

2

Area of 'x' tile=2500xcm

Number of tiles required=

2500

1440000

=576

So, 576 tiles are required
