Total area of the floor = (14)(10) = 140 m^2

Each tile is of 1 sp.m then total 140 tiles will be required.

Answer:- 140 tiles.

Solutions :-

Given :
Length of rectangular room = 14 m
Breadth of rectangular room = 10 m

Find the area of rectangular room :-

Area of rectangle = (Length × Breadth) sq. unit
= (14 × 10) m²
= 140 m²

Find the number of tiles needed :-

1 m² = 1 tiles
140 m² = (1 × 140) tiles

Hence,
Number of tiles needed = 140
