The floor of a room is of dimensions 4 mx 6 m. Tiles of size 10 cm
dimensions 4 m x 6 m. Tiles of size 10 cm x 12 cm have to lay on it.
How many tiles are required to cover the floor completely? ​

Answer:

Area of Room= 6m×4m=24m

1m=100cm

24×100=2400cm

Area of 1 tile= 10cm×12cm=120 cm

Therefore, Tiles requiered to cover the floor=2400/120=20

therefore,Tiles requiered =20
