Answer: Question is wrong as area of floor is less than tile area should be in m square

cost for tiles = 0.3 * 25 = Rs. 7.5

If area is in m square then

cost for tiles = 3000 * 25 = Rs. 75000

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of floor = 43.2 cm^2

Area of tile = 18 * 8 = 144 cm^2

Total number of tiles to cover floor = Area of floor / Area of tile

                                                           = 43.2 / 144 =0.3

cost for tiles = 0.3 * 25 = Rs. 7.5

If area is in m square then

cost for tiles = 0.3 * 25 = Rs. 7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of floor = 43.2 m^2 = 432000 cm^2

Area of tile = 18 * 8 = 144 cm^2

Total number of tiles to cover floor = Area of floor / Area of tile

                                                           = 432000 / 144 =3000

cost for tiles = 3000 * 25 = Rs. 75000
