Size of each side of square room floor is 9 ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Square room floor is covered with square foot floor tiles.

Number of tiles cover the floor is 81.

To Find:

Size of each side of square room floor.

Formula Used:

R=S^{2}        ------------------ formula no.01

S= size of one side of square room floor

R= area of the square room  floor

In square  all sides are equal.

Solution:

As given- square room floor is covered with square foot floor tiles.

                        Area of one tile = 1 sq. ft.

As given- Number of tiles cover the square room  floor is 81.

 Area of the square room  floor R= 81 sq. ft

Applying formula no.01

R=S^{2}

81=S^{2}

S=\sqrt{81}

S=9 \ ft.

In square  all sides are equal.

Each side of   square room  floor  = 9 ft.

Thus, size of each side of square room floor is 9 ft.
