the floor of Hall measuring 24 m×16m is to be covered by marble titles measuring 48cm by 32 cm. how many titles will be needed?

Answer:

Area of the hall = lxb

= 24 x 16

= 384 metre sq

Area of tiles = lxb

= 48 x 32

=1536 metre sq

Therefore = 1536 × 100 = 153600 cm sq

Thus, 153600÷384 = 400 tiles are required
