first we have to find the area of floor ,then find out how many tiles we need and at atlast find out the cost of tiles.

1.Area of floor:
formula: area of rectangle = length×breadth
length=7.2m
breadth =5.8m
area=7.2×5.8
=41.76 m^2(metre square)
=417600 cm^2(centimetre square)
2.No of tiles:
formula: no. of tiles=
 \frac{area \: of \: floor}{area \: of \: each \: tile}
 = \frac{417600 \: cm ^{2} }{20 \times 20 \: cm ^{2} }
=1044 tiles

3.cost of tiles:
formula: cost of total tiles required for floor =
no of tiles×cost of each tile
given: cost of dozen(or 12) tiles=276 ₹
cost of each( or 1) tile= (276/12) ₹
= 23 ₹
cost of total tiles = 23× 1044 ₹
= 24012 ₹

=417600 cm^2(centimetre square)

2.No of tiles:

= \frac{417600 \: cm ^{2} }{20 \times 20 \: cm ^{2} }=20×20cm2417600cm2

=1044 tiles

3.cost of tiles:

formula: cost of total tiles required for floor =

no of tiles×cost of each tile

given: cost of dozen(or 12) tiles=276 ₹

cost of each( or 1) tile= (276/12) ₹

= 23 ₹

cost of total tiles = 23× 1044 ₹

= 24012 ₹
