The floor of the rectangular hall has a perimeter 250m.if the cost of painting four wall at 10 per m^s is 15000.find height of hall

perimeter of the rectangular floor = 250 m


2(l + b) = 250


Therefore, (l + b) = 125 --- (1)


Area of four walls,


A = 15000/10 = 1500 sq m


2h(l + b) = 1500 2h x 125


= 1500 h


= 1500/250



= 6


Thus the height of the hall is 6 m

cost of paintings of 4 walls = ₹ 15,000

cost of painting four wall at ₹10 m/s

Area \: of \: Four \: wall \: painted \: =\\ \frac{15000}{10} \\ = 1500m {}^{2}

we know that

Area of four wall painted =2 (l+b)×h= 250h

1500m {}^{2} = 250h \\ \frac{1500}{250} = h \\ \\ 6 \: m \: = \: h

Hence

Height of hall is 6m
