chasmogamous flower are those flowers with open petals and exposed reproductive parts which enable them for cross- fertilisation while clistogamous flowers are those without exposed reproductive parts and open petals due to which they use only self-fertilization.

Wheras Cleistogamous flowers are those which do not open at all.
Chasmogamous flowers may undergo self- pollination or cross- pollination but cleistogamous flowers undergo only self pollination only.
