Answer: 294 m

Explanation: Given : frequency = 1020 kHz= 1020000Hz=1020000s^{-1}

1kHz= 1000Hz, 1Hz=1s^{-1}

\nu=\frac{c}{\lambda}

where,

\nu=frequency

c= velocity of light=3\times 10^8m/s

\lambda= wavelength

1020000s^{-1}=\frac{3\times 10^8m/s}{\lambda}

\lambda=294m

The wavelength of the electromagnetic radiation emitted by transmitter is 294 m.

Given :

Frequency of the F M wave, ν = 1020 kHz = 102 × 10⁴ Hz

To Find:

The wavelength of the electromagnetic radiation emitted by transmitter.

Calculation:

- We know that the relation between frequency and wavelength of a wave is given as:

c = νλ

⇒ λ = c / ν

⇒ λ = (3 × 10⁸) / (102 × 10⁴)

⇒ λ = 294.117 m

λ ≈ 294.12 m

- So the wavelength of the electromagnetic radiation emitted by transmitter is 294.12 m.
