Answer:

Given,

Converging lens means it's a Convex Lens.

Focal Length (f) = 20 cm (positive)

Object Distance (u) = 60 cm (negative)

1/v - 1/u = 1/f

= 1/v - (-1/60) = 1/20

= 1/v + 1/60 = 1/20

= 1/v = 1/20 - 1/60

= 1/v = (3-1)/60

= 1/v = 2/60

= 1/v = 1/30

= v = +30 cm

The Image will be formed 30 cm away from lens. It is a Real Image, Diminished in size.

I hope this helps.
