The focal length of a convex lens 'f' is found to have the values 10.2cm, 10.0cm, 10.3cm, 10.5cm and 10.4cm respectively. Calculate the mean absolute error and the relative error.

ANSWER:-
mean absolute error = 10.2 + 10+10.3+10.4+10.5 ÷5

= 51.4 ÷5 = 10.28. .


relative error = 10.28 ÷ 10 = 1.028
