The object placed on principal axis at the 'C' of lens and at a distance of 3cm from its optic centre

Solution:

At Centre of Curvature:

  • Image will be real.

  • Image will be inverted.

  • Image will be same size as that of the object.

  • Image will be formed at the centre of curvature itself.

Beyond the Centre of Curvature:

  • Image will be formed in between focus and centre of curvature.

  • Image will be inverted.

  • Image will be real.

  • Image will be diminished.
