Focal length of concave lens = 50cm

Distance of object = -75cm

To find :

a)The distance of image

b) Magnification

Solution :

For a concave mirror

  •  1/f = (1/v) - (1/u)
  •  (1/v) = 1/f + (1/u)
  •  (1/v) = (1/50) - (1/75)
  •  (1/v) = 1/150
  • v = 150cm

The distance of image is 150cm
