The focal length of a convex mirror is 40 cm.a point source of light is kept at the distance of 40 cm from the mirror.find the distance of image from the mirror

V=uf/u-f

=(-40)*40/(-40)-40

=-1600/-80

=20

So image will form at 20cm inside convex mirror.The image is virtual and upright.
