The following data gives the amount of loans (in crore of rupees) disbursed by a bank during some years:

(i) Represent the above date with the help of a bar graph.

(ii) With the help of the bar graph, indicate the year in which amount of loan is not increased over that of the preceding year.

The complete question is,

The following data gives the amount of loans (in crore of rupees) disbursed by a bank during some years:

Year                       1992   1993   1994   1995   1996

Loan in crores         28       33       55      55       80

(i) Represent the above date with the help of a bar graph.

(ii) With the help of the bar graph, indicate the year in which amount of loan is not increased over that of the preceding year.

Given,

Year                       1992   1993   1994   1995   1996

Loan in crores         28       33       55      55       80

(i)

The representation of the above data with the help of a bar graph is attached below.

The x-axis represents the loan in crores of rupees

The y-axis represents the year

(ii)

Consider the bar graph attached while going through the following notes.

From the obtained bar graph it's clear that, the heights of bars representing the years 1994 and 1995 are the highest and the same.

Therefore, the amount of loan is not increased in the year 1995 over the preceding year 1994.

Given:

The given data is shown below:

Year                       1992   1993   1994   1995   1996

Loan in crores         28       33       55      55       80

Solution:

(i): Let the horizontal axis represents the year and the vertical axis represents the Loan in crores.

Draw the bar graph as shown in the figure.

(ii) From the graph it is clear that the hight of graph in 1994 and 1995 is same it means the height of the graph not increased over that period.

Hence, the loan is not increased in the year 1995 over the preceding year 1994.
