Hey mate !!
Here's your answer !!
It is already given that it is increased in the ascending order.
So the number of terms on counting is 8
So median formula when number of terms are equal is
= ( n/2 , n/2 + 1 ) th terms. / 2
So n = 8
= ( 8 / 2 and 8 / 2 + 1 ) th terms / 2
= ( 4 and 4+1 ) th terms / 2
= 4 th and 5 th term / 2 = median
= x + x + 1 / 2 = 69
= 2x + 1 = 69 * 2
= 2x = 138 -1
= 2x = 137
=> x = 137 / 2 = 68.5
So x + 2 = 68.5 + 2 = 70.5
Hence the value of x = 68.5
Hope this helps !!
Cheers !!
