The following data was collected in order to determine the density of turpentine. Use this data to determine turpentines density. / mass of empty graduated cylinder 22.42g / mass of graduated cylinder and turpentine 30.28g / volume of turpentine 9.70ml

From data , mass of cylinder and turpentine is 30.28 and mass of cylinder is 22.42 g.

So , mass of turpentine is :--

30.28-22.42

7.86

So , density of turpentine is = mass/volume

= 7.86/9.7

= 0.8 at approx.
