The following diagram shows two parallel straight conductor carrying same current. Copy the diagram and draw the pattern of the magnetic field lines around them showing their directions. What is the magnitude of the magnetic field at point x which is equal distance from the conductors? Give justification for your answer.

use right hand thumb rule for finding the direction of magnetic field

the magnetic field at point X will be a straight line.....

please mark my answer as the brainliest

sangiSMJ: Set 2
sakthishamifb: yes
sreejavinu00: I agree .. set2 was very hard
sakthishamifb: yeah ofcourse
sangiSMJ: Let's hope for the best.
sakthishamifb: yup same
sakthishamifb: i was also thinking the same
aaryakprasad: Magnitude is straight line? Won't it be zero
soumyadeb00: Yess it will be 0
harshaharis0987: Will they give me mark if write zero because no force acting at that point? Pls reply someonee

When we draw the picture properly, we are able to get the answer.

The overall magnitude of magnetic field is roughly about zero.

It is the given magnetic field created by two wires are equal.

It shows that the two magnetic field lines do not intersect each other and they form the straight line at x point as it is fully equidistant from them.

It is entirely based on Maxwell's right hand thumb rule.
