(i) In prallelogram GUNS,

GU=SN. ( opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal)

=>3y-1=26

=>3y=26+1

=>y=27/3

=>y=9

Similarly SG=UN ( opposite sides of ||gm)

3x=18

=>x=18/3

=>x=6

(ii) Let the point of intersection of the disgonals of parallelogram RUNS be O.

Now,

Diagonal of parallelogram bisect each other i.e., RN divides SU into two equal parts amd SU divides RN into two equal parts.

Therefore, RO=ON—-1 and SO=OU—2

Using 2,

20=y+7

=>20-7=y

=>13=y

Using 1,

x+y=16

Putting value of y

=>x+13=16

=>x=16-13=3
