The (ii) Streptomycin is an antibiotic.

Streptomycin is an antibiotic which was prescribed to treat a number of bacterial infections.

The list of disease includes tuberculosis, Mycobacterium avium complex, endocarditis, brucellosis, Burkholderia infection, plague, tularemia, and rat bite fever.

The side effects of this antibiotic can be very acute at time, hence nowadays the use of this antibiotic is restricted.
