Fluctuation in the population of Australia

The population of Australia saw a gradual growth over the past 20 years, from Dec '99 to Dec '19. The natural increase was relatively the lowest among the three components. It was stagnant from '199 to '03 after which increased and became constant again from '05 to '15. Since '15 it decreased slightly and increased in '17 to become constant again in '19 at slightly above 100,000. The net overseas migration was at the same level as the natural increase from '99 to '03, after which it dipped slightly but increased rapidly till it reached the peak in '08 where it was approximately 300,000. Then the graph dropped again by '10, increased in '12, dropped in '14 and increased in '16 again to ultimately drop in '19 at 200,000. The total growth started low from 200,00 and stayed low till '04. After this, it increased sharply to reach the peak in '08 at halfway above 400,000. Then it decreased in'10, increased in '12, dropped in '14, increased in '16 to finally drop to 350,000 in '19.
