"mean" means we have to sum up all the numbers and divide it with total numbers ..............

3+6+6+27+13+8+12+20+5+10

= 105/10=1.05

hope it helps you

thank you

Given: The following numbers represent the ages of people on a bus: 3, 6, 27, 13, 6, 8, 12, 20, 5, 10.

To find: Calculate mean of their ages.

Solution:

When a number of values are given and the mean of the values is to be found, first, the values are added to each other.

3+ 6+ 27+ 13+ 6+ 8+ 12+ 20+ 5+ 10 = 110

So, the sum of the values is 110. Now, the sum of the values is to be divided by the number of values. In this case, the number of values is 10.

\frac{110}{10} = 11

Therefore, the mean age is 11.
