Given x is the median
by general rule the average of 1st and last term is always the median
here the median lies between x and x+1
so
(x+(x+1) )/2=63
2x+1=63
2x=126-1
2x=125
x=62.5

Tushar01: answer will be 30.5
Basilisk: i am sure with my calculations , if you find error , correct it.
Tushar01: it is given that 63 is the median so we can combine that both term that is x
Tushar01: x+(x+2)=63
Basilisk: hello average of both would be 63, and not their sum
Rajanverma: the value of x is 62 it was given in exams
Rajanverma: x+2 +x = 63
