Therefore, the median of this data will be the mean of 10/2 th i.e., 5th and 10/2+1th i.e., 6th observation.:

x=63-1;

Median=(x+x+2)/2
63=(2x+2)/2
63=2 *(x+1)/2
63=x+1
x=63-1=62
