The following observations were taken, while determining R.D. of a liquid: Weight of the solid in air = 0.1 kgf Weight of the solid in liquid = 0.08 kgf Weight of the solid in water = 0.06 kgf Calculate:
(i) The apparent loss of weight of solid in water.
(ii) The apparent loss of weight of solid in liquid.
(iii) R.D. of the liquid

HI DEAR SHRESTA HERE !!!!PLS FOLLOW ME FRNDS

AND THANK MY ANSWER TOO,,,,

(a) Apparent loss of wt. of solid in liq. = (0.100 - 0.080) kgf = 0.020 kgf.

(b) Apparent los of wt. solid in water = (0.100 - 0.075)kgf = 0.025 kgf.

(c) R.D of liq. =  = 0.8

(d) Density of the liquid = R.D. x 1000 kg m-3

                                    = 0.8 x1000

                                    = 800 kg m-3
