Error

a) being

b) A

c) so

d) for

Correction

was

The

as

of

The statements should be in the past tense as it initiated in past tense. In the second line, ""being"" is used which has to replaced with ""was"".

In the next line, Correct preposition is not used.Instead of ""a"", ""the"" should be used.

In the third line, a comparison is made and hence""so"" should be used.

In the last line, the word ""timid"" refers to shyness.

Therefore the preposition ""of"" has to be used instead of ""for"".
