Answer:

(2)

In a parallelogram, adjacent angles add up to 180°.

Thus,

50° + y = 180°

y = 180° - 50°

y = 130°

Since opposite angles x and y are equal in a parallelogram,

x = y = 130°

Since y and z are Alternate Interior Angles, they are equal:

y = z = 130°

(4)

Since the 80° and y angles are opposite, they are equal:

y = 80°

Since y and z are Alternate Interior Angles, they are equal:

y = z = 80°

Since y and x are Adjacent Angles, they are complimentary:

y + x = 180°

80 + x = 180°

x = 180° - 80°

x = 100°

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
