Error correction

1. traffic in Metropolitan cities have almost reached waiting.- Traffic, ceased

There are two errors in the sentence.

The first error lies in the word 'traffic' . Since it begins the sentence it should be in a Capital letter.

The second error is in the word 'reached'. Reached is not the appropriate word in this context. It should be replaced by a word that signifies stopping. The closest word is 'ceased'.

2.The roads are overcrowding with people-overcrowded

'Overcrowding' is a present participle. The past participle should be used which is overcrowded.

3. moving in the hurry. a

The article 'a' should be used instead of the article 'the' as  the word 'hurry' needs a general  determiner not a specifier like 'the'.

4. They are not interested to follow in the rules and regulations.

The preposition 'in' is not required after follow.

The correct sentence should be : They are not interested to follow the rules and regulations.

5. The rash up driver jump red lights ,overtake from wrong sides leading to traffic Jams .

The preposition 'up' after the word rash is redundant. It should be dropped.

Since the word 'driver' is in the singular, the verb following it should be 'jumps' and not 'jump', 'overtakes' and not 'overtake'.

The word 'jams' is not a proper noun so it should begin with a small letter.

The correct sentence is : The rash driver jumps red lights ,overtakes from wrong sides leading to traffic jams .

6. If people use the transport wise they can avoid jams .

The adverb 'wisely' should be used in place the word 'wise'.

The correct sentence is : If people use the transport wisely they can avoid jams .

7. Traffic rules would be made more strict and punishment should be severely for,the rule breakers.

The modal verb 'should' be used in place of 'would' and instead of the word 'severely' an adverb, the word 'severe' an adjective should be used. There should  be no  comma between 'for''the'.

The correct sentence is : Traffic rules should be made more strict and punishment should be severe for the rule breakers.
