Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a pie chart & a student obtained 540 as total marks.

(i) In which subject did the student score 120 marks?

As 540 is the total marks that a student obtained.

So, 540 marks =360^{\circ}

1 mark= (\frac{360}{540} )^{\circ}

120 marks =(\frac{360*120}{540} )^{\circ}

                 =80^{\circ}

And by the pie chart 80^{\circ} is made for English so student got 120 marks in English.

(ii)  Find the difference in the marks obtained in Maths and English.

Angle at Maths= 90^{\circ}

Angle at English= 80^{\circ}

Difference between angles in Maths & English= 10^{\circ}

360^{\circ}=540 marks

10^{\circ}=\frac{540*10}{360} \text{marks}

     =15 marks.

So, the difference in the marks obtained in Maths and English is 15 marks.

(iii)  Subject in which he get minimum marks.

Minimum marks mean minimum angle.

Here, the minimum angle is for Hindi so the student got minimum marks in Hindi.
