the following :
(i) Find the total number of students.
(ii) Find the ratio of number of students in science to number of students
in arts.
(iii) How many more students are admitted in law and Education put
together than in commerce?

$1000 = \frac{100^0 \times \: total \: students}{360^0}$

$total \: students \: = 1000 \times \frac{360}{100} = 360$

student in arts=

$\frac{central \: angle \: of \: the \: sector \times total \: students}{360}$

$\frac{120^0 \times 3600}{ 360^0} = 1200$

ratio of student in science and arts=

1000:1200=5:6
