Dear student,

Thanks for asking such a nice question.

The answer of your question is as follows

Total money worth for buying all the objects 540 INR.

1) Cost of Bag in rupees

= \frac{(30)(540)}{100}\\<br />\\ = \frac{16200}{100}\\ \\ =162 rupees

2) Cost of Water Bag in rupees = \frac{(10)(540)}{100} \\ \\ =\frac{5400}{100} \\ =54 rupees

3) Degree measure for sketch pen:

the percentage of sketch pen =5 % =\frac{(5)(540)}{100} \\ \\ =\frac{2700}{100} \\ \\ =27

expenditure for pen = 27 rupees

Degree for sketch pen = \\ \\ \frac{(27)(360)}{540} \\ \\=\frac{9720}{540}\\ \\ = 18 degree

4) Soham spent Maximum amount on Notebook

 =\frac{(40)(540)}{100} <br />\\= \frac{21600}{100} \\ =216

Hope the solution helps you.

Hi ,

Total expenditure of the items

bought for Soham by his parents

( x ) = Rs 540

Sum of sector angles at centre of

the circle ( y ) = 360°

1 ) Cost of Bag = 30% of x

= ( 30/100 ) × 540

= Rs 162

2 ) Cost of Water Bag = 10% of x

= ( 10/100 ) × 540

= Rs 54

3 ) Degree measure of Sketch Pen

Sector = 5% of y

= ( 5/100 ) × 360°

= 18°

4 ) Maximum Cost of the item is

Notebooks

Cost of Notebooks = 40% of x

= ( 40/100 ) × 540

= Rs 216

I hope this helps you.
