Number of runs they scored are 36, 55, 12 ,
110 ,14 , 72 , 69 , 20 , 18 , 25 , 0
Mean = sum of the observations / Number of observations
= ( 36 + 55 + 12 + 110 + 14 + 72 + 69 + 20 + 18 + 25 + 0 ) / 11
= 431 /11
= 39. 181
ii ) Arrange the data in ascending
0 , 12 , 14 ,18 , 20 , 25 , 36 , 55 , 69 , 72 , 110
Number observations = n = 11 ( odd )
Median = ( n + 1 ) / 2 th term
= ( 11 + 1 ) / 2 th term
= 12 / 2 th term
= 6 th term
Median = 25
iii ) A mode is that value among the observations which
occurs most often .
But in our obsetvations no one is repeated, so the data has
no mode .
