Outside the magnet the direction of magnetic field lines are from north to south .

And inside the magnet the direction of magnetic field lines are from south to north.

Thus, we can say that magnetic field lines are closed curves.

Inside a magnet magnetic field lines are from South to north. Outside the magnet they are from north to south. Hence, magnetic field lines are closed loops.
