The Food charges in a hotel are as follow for the food the charger rupees hundred and for the subsequent days it is rupees 50 per day .Taking the number of days as X and the total charges as rupees Y write a linear equation for the for this information and its graph

Let the number of days be X.
Let total charges be Y.
For first day, charge is Rs100.
And for rest of days, the charge is Rs.50
As the first day has separate charge of Rs.100, we do not need to include in subsequent days.
So, number of subsequent days = X - 1.

So, equation will be,
100 + 50 (x-1) = y
100 + 50x -50 = y
50 + 50x = y
50x - y +50 =0
