A ) a three carbon molecule known as pyruvate is formed due to breakdown of glucose in the cytoplasm then during the respiration this pyruvate is converted into carbon dioxide water and energy in presence of oxygen in mitochondria

B)

In order to release more energy to perform exercise pyruvate is converted into lactic acid in the absence of Oxygen and produced lactic acid as the end product which causes muscle cramps
