Hey there buddy!

The chewed food, which becomes rich with saliva and is made into a ball like shape by the activity of the tongue, is called bolus.

The stomach receives bolus via the oesophagus.

The bolus is partially digested in the stomach and enters the small intestine for further, complete, digestion.

This partially digested food is now called chyme. Hence, it can be said that the food received by the small intestine from the stomach is called chyme.

The chyme is further digested. The remaining, undigested solid waste is then expelled from the body.

Hope you find the answer useful!
