initial case
----------------------
base = 6 m
altitude = 8m
length of ladder = hypotenuse = ?

hyp = √ a² + b²

= √6² + 8²
=√100
=10 m

∴ length of ladder is 10 m
--------------
case 2

base = 8 m
hyp = length of ladder = 10maltitude = ?

hyp= √ a² + b²

a = √ 10² - 8²
a = √100 - 64
a = √ 36

a=6 m

it will reach the height 6 m above the ground
