Incomplete Question. Area of cross section of elephant leg is not given.Let us assume it to be 0.2 m².

Now,

Area = 0.2 m².

mass = 2200 kg.

then, Force = mg

= 2200 × 10

= 22000 N.

Thus,

Pressure = thrust/area

∴ Pressure = 22000/0.2

∴ Pressure = 110000 Pa.

∴ Pressure = 1.1 × 10⁵ Pa. ≈ 1 atm.

Hence, elephant applies about 1 atm pressure on the ground.

Hope it helps.
