Given:

Force acting on circular disc,F= 50 N

Radius of circular disc,r= 7 m

To Find:

Pressure exerted on circular disc

Solution:

We know that,

  • Pressure P exerting on certain surface is given by

\pink{\boxed{\bf{P=\frac{Force}{Area}}}}

  • Area of a circle A is given by

\purple{\boxed{\bf{A=\pi r^{2}}}}

where,

r is the radius of circle

\rule{190}{1}

Let the area of one face of circular disc be A

So,

\longrightarrow\rm{A=\pi r^{2}}

\longrightarrow\rm{A=\dfrac{22}{\cancel{7}}\times\cancel{7}\times7}

\longrightarrow\rm{A=22\times7}

\longrightarrow\rm{A=154\ m^{2}}

\rule{190}{1}

Let the pressure exerted on circular disc be P

So,

\longrightarrow\rm{P=\dfrac{F}{A}}

\longrightarrow\rm{P=\dfrac{50}{154}}

\longrightarrow\rm\green{P=0.325\ Pa}

Hence, the pressure exerted on circular disc is 0.325 Pa.

The force acting on a circular disc of radius 7m is given 50N. Find the pressure.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰

\longmapsto\tt{Radius(r)=7m}

\longmapsto\tt{Force(F)=50N}

Firstly Calculate the Area : -

Using Formula : -

\longmapsto\tt{\small{\boxed{\bold{\bold{\blue{\sf{Area\:of\:Circle=\pi{{r}^{2}}}}}}}}}

Putting Values : -

\longmapsto\tt{Area=\dfrac{22}{\cancel{7}}\times{{\cancel{7}}}\times{7}}

\longmapsto\tt{22\times{7}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{154{m}^{2}}

So , The area of Ciricular Disc is 154m²..

Now ,

Using Formula : -

\longmapsto\tt{\small{\boxed{\bold{\bold{\orange{\sf{Pressure=\dfrac{Force}{Area}}}}}}}}

Putting Values : -

\longmapsto\tt{Pressure=\cancel\dfrac{50}{154}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{Pressure=0.32P}

So , The Pressure is 0.32 Pascal...
