The force exerted  by the elephant F= 20,000 N
Area = 1000cm^2=1000/100x100 m^2=0.1 m^2

Pressure=Force/Area

P= 20000/0.1

P=2,00,000N/m^2

pressure is force per unit area

elephant has 4 legs implying the area over which that force is distributed over equally is 4×0.1 m^2=0.4m^2

P=20000÷0.4

therefore the pressure it applies is 50000N/m^2

saaketsuryap26cen: this is correct
