Area under the curve = momentum

=>>[1/2×2×6]-[3×2]+[4×3]

==>>>12 Ns

Thus

Answer:

Area of F-t graph gives change in momentum

For 0 to 2 sec ,

Δp = area of first triangle + area of next rectangle + area of last rectangle

Δp =  1/2 x 2 x 6 + 2 x (-3) + 4 x 3

Δp = 6 - 6 + 12 = 12 Ns
