Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • Force (F) = 2 N

  • Acceleration (a) = 2 m/s²

ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-

  • Mass (m)

sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

We know that,

Force = Mass × Acceleration

F = m × a

On putting above given values in it, we get,

→ 2 = m × 2

m = 2/2

m = 1 kg

Hence,

  • Mass of the body is 1 kg

GIVEN

The force of 2 newton can cause an acceleration of 2 m/s sq

TO FIND

Find the mass of the body

SOLUTION

  • Force (F) = 2 N
  • Acceleration (a) = 2m/s²
  • Mass (m) = ?

Apply formula

Force = mass × acceleration

→ 2 = m × 2

→ 2 = 2m

→ m = 2/2 = 1 kg

Hence, the mass of body is 1kg
