The equation for the force of gravity is given as:
F = GMm / R²   ........... (1)
Where,
G is the gravitational constant.
M is the mass of the Earth.
m is the mass of an object.
R is the radius of the Earth.
The values are given as:
G = 6.67 x 10⁻¹¹ Nm²/kg²
M = 5.98 x 10²⁴ kg
m = 1 kg (given)
R = 6.38 x 10⁶ m
Substituting all these values in equation (1) , we get:
F = (6.67 x 10⁻¹¹) (5.98 x 10²⁴) (1) / (6.38 x 10⁶)²
F = 9.8 N
which shows that the force of attraction between Earth's surface and the body of mass 1 kg is 9.8 N.
Hopefully it's helpful.
Thanks.
