The force of gravitation between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses. Since the mass of cricket balls is very small as compared to that of the earth, so the force of gravitation between two cricket balls is extremely small while that between a ball and the earth is extremely large

Heya mate, Here is ur answer

Universal Law of Gravitation states that the gravitational force between two objects is :

⏩Directly proportional to the product of masses of two objects

⏩Inversely proportional to the square of distance between their center.

F=G\frac{Mm}{{d}^{2}}

Case 1

Gravitational force between two balls is very small as the masses of the two balls are almost negligible as compared to earth.

Case 2

Gravitational force between a ball and earth is big because earth has a huge mass. More the mass, more is the gravitational force.

So, The gravitational force between two cricket balls is extremely small but between a cricket ball and earth is extremely large.
