The force of gravity on Moon is said to be one-sixth of that on the Earth. What would a mass of 12 kg
weigh
a) on the Earth, and
b) on the Moon.

on earth it would weigh 12 ×10 =120 N nd on moon it would weigh 12×10÷6= 20N

a) on earth the mass will be 12 KG
b) on moon the mass will be1/6 *12= 2kg
