Let F1= 20 N F2= 50N

Two types of resultant forces are possible in this case.

a. When both are making an angle A with each other.

If both are in same direction, then see result in case 1 of the image.

If both are in opposite directions, then see in case 2 of the image.

When both are making an angle zero with each other

If they are in same direction, I.e. Parallel to each other, then resultant force is F= F1+F2

if they are in opposite direction, I.e. Anti parallel, then resultant force is F=F1-F2.
