F = vdm/dt

dm/dt = F/v
= 210 / 300
= 0.7 kg/s

Rate of consumption of fuel is 0.7 kg/s

Answer:

The rate of consumption of fuel is 0.7 kg/s.

Explanation:

Given:-

  Velocity of Rocket, v = 300 m/s

  Force on rocket, F =  210 N

Let the rate of consumption be 'dm/dt'.

Now, we know by formula that:-

     Force, F = v dm/dt

Putting the given values in the formula, we get:-

               210 = 300 × dm/dt

           dm/dt = 210/300

           dm/dt = 0.7 kg/s

Hope it helps! ;-))
